Never thought I'll really be into the cutesy, pink-ruffled, cotton-candy, chibi-kawaii, squeeze-to-death stuff. But then I came across these pixels during one of my countless traipses through the World Wide Web, and I was completely bowled over. Since then, it's been a hobby of mine to go searching through the web for these wonderful pixels. Sometimes, I have to cut myself off and remind myself that there will always be adorable pixels out there that I cannot get my grimy paws on. Feel free to look around. But make sure you read the Pixel Adoption Procedures before you proceed. In case you can't find it, it's the last box on this page. By the emoticon with the monstrous teeth and glowing red eyes. Awww. Isn't he adorable? Look, his eyes light up when he looks at you. I think he likes you <3. Make sure you don't pet him. He likes thumbs for breakfast. Actually, make sure you don't pet any of the pixels you find here in the Toybox, because my little monster emoticon doesn't like it (and yes, he likes being on every single subsection of the Toybox). This Toybox used to have only one page (this one) with all my pixel adoptions in them. But as time went on, I collected more pixels. Soon it took a long time for the Toybox page to load because it's graphic-intensive. 99% of my pixel adoptions are animated. So I split them up into several subsections, which you see below. How is this different from my Extended Sig? Well, my Extended Sig contains pixels that I have purchased from the Gaia minishops forum using Gaia gold. An Extended Sig is considered an... extension of my Gaia account. The pixels here in the Toybox are not associated with Gaia. I'm slowly starting to make my own cute pixels, and I'm particularly gravitating towards adorable, colorful blobs in quaint jars (and maybe a bottle or two). At the onset, I discovered that it's harder to actually create them than it is to animate them. |

There are incredibly talented people out there who enjoy making these little things and putting them up on their pages. Visitors can then adopt them, which usually means getting the code from the source page and putting up the pixel creations on their own sites. Creators can be strict and possessive of their creations and usually have strict adoption rules. This is understandable, since they spent a lot of time and effort putting together these little guys and making them look as good as they do now. So here at the onset, I must indicate that these adorable pixels are not mine. If you wish to adopt any one of the little guys that appear in this section or any of the other Toybox subsections, click on the adorable little creature in question to go to its creator's site. There's a reason why you cannot right-click on them. I'd also like to note that a good number of pixels from my Toybox came from Peachie's Collection, a gigantic website filled with awesomely cute pixels. Peachie is a talented pixel artist in her own right and displays her pixels on her site. She also adopts pixels and provides the links from where she got them. So I went to those sites to adopt some of the similar pixels myself. But if it weren't for Peachie's site, I wouldn't have found a good bunch of adorable pixel art ^^. |
